The main casualty was quarterback Jay Cutler, who is listed as doubtful for Monday night after getting knocked out of last week’s game with a concussion. The Bears are still in first place in the NFC North at 7-2 straight-up and 5-4 against the spread and the total has gone OVER in four of their last six games.

Detroit may have saved its season with last Sunday’s 26-23 dramatic come-from-behind overtime victory over Philadelphia as a 3.5-point road underdog, but it can get back in the thick of the NFC North race with a win on Monday night. The Lions are 2-3 straight-up on the year and 1-4 against the spread. The total has gone OVER in two of their last three games.

Despite the fourth-quarter heroics of quarterback Matthew Stafford, Detroit still has issues with consistently putting points on the board.

Denver Broncos vs. San Diego Chargers Free Pick

Denver’s record may be 2-3 both straight-up and against the spread, but with Peyton Manning starting to return to his All-Pro form, you get the feeling this team is about to go on a run. He has kept the Broncos in the game against Atlanta and Houston, which are a combined 10-0 and stood toe-to-toe with Tom Brady last week in a 31-21 loss to New England.

With Manning at the helm, Denver has the ninth-ranked offense in the NFL in both total yards and points-per-game and is ranked fifth in passing yards.
