BYU Cougars vs Utah Utes College Football Preview & Pick

They aren’t many rivalries as bitter as the BYU vs. Utah rivalry in college football. These two teams definitely have respect for each other, but they also love nothing more than beating each other. Both teams have good young coaches and they appear to be on the rise. Last year, Utah thumped BYU 54-10 as a four-point road underdog. It was a result that very few people saw coming. BYU looks for some serious revenge this Saturday night in Salt Lake City.

Texas Longhorns vs. Mississippi Rebels NCAA Football Prediction

The Texas Longhorns are bouncing back from their brutal season a couple years ago. Texas went 8-5 last year, and the Longhorns have been impressive in consecutive wins to start the 2012 season. Mississippi has a new coach in Hugh Freeze. The Rebels have started the season 2-0, but it has been against subpar competition. This is the team’s first real test of the 2012 season.

Game Overview:

Texas has primarily gone with David Ash as their quarterback this year. Case McCoy has seen limited action as well, but it seems the coaches are most comfortable with Ash under center.

NCAA Football Free Pick: Arizona State @ Missouri

Points are expected to hit the board in bunches this week on the NCAA football odds, where the Missouri Tigers duke it out with the Arizona State Sun Devils at Faurot Field on Saturday night.

The Sun Devils have gotten off to a 2-0 start to their season, but they really haven’t taken on all that much in the way of competition to date. This is going to be their toughest game of the year to date, as it is the first road game and the first game against a team that is going to likely be in a bowl this year.

0: The number of wins that the Colorado Buffaloes and Colorado State Rams had in Week 2. That surely doesn’t seem like all that much of a big deal, as these two teams have lost on the same week time and time again. However, this is notable because they both lost to FCS schools. Yikes.

NCAA Football Free Pick: Washington State @ UNLV

What could be a relatively ugly game kicks off on Friday night for NCAA football betting aficionados, as the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels play host to the Washington State Cougars.

Rutgers @ South Florida College Football Pick

The 2012 Big East season kicks off for college football betting fans on Thursday night from the Sunshine State, where the South Florida Bulls take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

The Scarlet Knights really haven’t showed all that much yet, because they haven’t played all that much of a schedule. They weren’t exactly the most dominating team in the world against either the Tulane Green Wave or the Howard Bison, and neither one of those foes are exactly the cream of the crop on the team’s schedule.
