Michigan and Indiana are going to be tough to catch at the top of the Big Ten, so these teams know they can’t afford many more losses. Recent matchups between these two have been very hard fought games, and I expect nothing different in this one.

Nebraska and Ohio State are both coming off big wins in their Big Ten openers. The Cornhuskers scored 20 straight points to come from behind to beat Wisconsin last Saturday night. Ohio State won Urban Meyer’s Big Ten debut in East Lansing in a defensive struggle 17-16. The Horseshoe will be rocking this Saturday night when these two meet in a battle of two of the Big Ten’s best.

Ohio State is currently serving a postseason ban as a result of NCAA sanctions but do not tell that to Urban Meyer. The new Buckeye head coach has his team heading into this matchup with a 4-0 straight-up record that includes a 35-28 victory over California as a 17-point home favorite in Week 3 and last Saturday’s 29-15 romp over UAB as a 35.5-point favorite at home. This Saturday will be the first true test to see just how good his team actually is after it failed to cover a hefty spread in its last three games.
