The L.A Lakers have the best record in the Western Conference at a mark of 34-8 and have appeared to be the best team in the conference all year. However, the Spurs have rallied from a slow start and they are ready to challenge for Western supremacy. San Antonio already captured a victory over the Lakers a few short weeks ago in an exciting game that went right down to the wire. The Spurs Manu Ginobili knocked down 27 in the contest that lead to San Antonio edged out the Lakers at home 112-111.

Indiana Pacers at San Antonio Spurs Preview 1/20/09

The Indiana Pacers and San Antonio Spurs meet for the first time this season on Tuesday night in San Antonio. Last year the Spurs swept the series against Indiana winning 116-89 at Indiana and 108-97 at home. Both teams will be playing on short rest as the Pacers were in New Orleans yesterday while San Antonio was at Charlotte. The Spurs were able to get by the Bobcats yesterday while the Pacers fell short in New Orleans.
