Dallas continues to battle to stay in the playoff race in the Western Conference with a four-game winning streak that has it three games in back of the Lakers for the eighth and final spot. The impressive part of this current run is that the last three wins came on the road where the Mavericks are just 13-21 straight-up this season. They are 30-33 SU overall but a profitable 37-26 against the spread.
By virtue of a five-game winning streak that includes a 91-79 rout of Boston this past Sunday as an 11-point home favorite, Oklahoma City can tie the Spurs for the top spot in the Western Conference with a win on Monday night. The Thunder are 47-16 straight-up this season and, after covering in seven of their last nine games, a profitable 38-23-2 against the spread.
Chicago is tied with Brooklyn for fourth-place in the Eastern Conference standings, but it will have a hard time staying there if it does not improve upon a 6-9 SU record in its last 15 games. The Bulls are now 34-26 straight-up overall and 27-33 against the spread this season. They remain one of the best road teams in the NBA at 17-12 SU and are a profitable 18-11 ATS.
