Seattle comes into this inter-conference matchup as arguable the best team in the NFC after a 3-0 start both straight-up and against the spread that includes an impressive 29-3 beatdown of San Francisco as a three-point home favorite in Week 2. Last week the Seahawks covered a ridiculous 19.5-point spread as home favorites in a 45-17 romp over Jacksonville. The total stayed UNDER in their first two games but it easily went OVER the 39-point line against the Jaguars.
San Francisco comes into this huge NFC West showdown 1-0 after an opening day 34-28 victory over Green Bay as a five-point favorite at home with the total going OVER the 47-point closing line. The 49ers had to erase a four-point deficit midway through the fourth quarter with 10 unanswered points down the stretch to get the win. They sealed things with a 33-yard field goal with just 26 seconds on the clock.
Most betting experts expect Seattle to push San Francisco all the way to Week 17 of the regular season for the NFC West Division title this season and quite a few have this team going all the way to the Super Bowl. If the Seahawks’ first two preseason games are any indication of how they will play in the regular season, I would have to agree that this team is a pretty good bet to go all the way this year.

The total stayed way UNDER the 35.5-point line.

The Baltimore Ravens definitively won their championship last year with the old cliché of running the ball and playing good defense. Oh sure, QB Joe Flacco was a monster in the second season, and he was able to get the job done when it mattered most, but the foundation of the team was its ‘D’. This year, Baltimore has one of the many defenses that we think could make a big time difference when we’re talking about wins and losses.
