The Sprint Center in Kansas City will be the site of what should be a great NCAA Tournament betting battle on Friday night, as the North Carolina Tar Heels take on the Villanova Wildcats.

The Big East in NCAA men’s basketball remains the most competitive conference in Division I as there are currently eight teams ranked in the top 25 in the latest Coaches Poll and three other teams; West Virginia, Cincinnati, and Marquette …
The North Carolina Tarheels and the Villanova Wildcats will take the floor in the second game of the Final Four this Saturday night in what will definitely be an exciting basketball game. These two teams are fast pace, fly around the ball, and flat out hustle all over the court. If you want to see all out basketball then do not miss this one. The North Carolina Tarheels have long claimed the most talented team in America with so many weapons on the offensive side of the court. All five starters’ average at least 10 points per game which is very rare among the college ranks. However, they will meet a Villanova team that is perhaps one of the most talented starting line-ups they have battled all season. The Wildcats should be able to match the speed of the Tarheels and provide some tenacious defense that could give North Carolina some problems especially if they do not come out shooting well. The Tarheels may be everyone’s pick to win the game, but Villanova has all the ingredients to pull off a win and continue to shock the college basketball world as they have done over the past few weeks.
The road to the Final Four is only one game away for two Big East Conference rivals out of the East bracket in top seeded Pittsburgh and number 3 seed Villanova. Pittsburgh has been one of the top front runners in the potent conference all season long and earned a number one seed in the tournament recently defeating Xavier 60-55 in the sweet sixteen. Villanova has been the biggest surprise in the tournament playing very solid and absolutely crushing the Duke Blue Devils in the sweet sixteen by score of 77-54. The Elite Eight grudge match will actually be a re-match from earlier this season when the Villanova Wildcats upset the Panthers handing them their biggest loss of the regular season 67-57. However, the first meeting means nothing as everything will be on the line this Saturday night as these two stellar teams continue their march towards a National Championship.
Notre Dame gets another chance to impress the NCAA Tournament committee as they host 10th ranked Villanova on Monday. The Fighting Irish are 7-9 in the Big East and definitely on the bubble for making the NCAA Tournament. The Irish played 2nd ranked Connecticut on Saturday and they were in the game for the most part but lost 72-65. “I think we still have a shot (at the NCAA tournament),”
The No. 10 Marquette Golden Eagles suffered their very first Big East Conference lost on Saturday when they were upset by the South Florida Bulls 57-56. The Golden Eagles are now in a 3 way tie for first place and in need to get back to their winning ways. However, the No. 13 Villanova Wildcats have been playing exceptionally well over the last few weeks winning 5 straight games including big wins over Pittsburgh and Syracuse. The Wildcats sport a healthy 19-4 record this year that is well ahead of other big name schools in the conference like Notre Dame, Syracuse, and Georgetown. Villanova will attempt to keep up their rather surprising play when they host a talented Marquette team on their own floor on Tuesday night.
Two Top 20 teams get together on Tuesday in the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden as #15 Villanova takes on #6 Texas. Villanova is unbeaten to start the season but really hasn’t been tested. “We’re 8-0, who knows what that means? Thirty teams could be better,” Villanova coach Jay Wright, “We could talk about it all we want. We’re going to know where we are.” The Wildcats will get a serious test on Tuesday night against a Texas team that is in the Top 10.
