On Tuesday night the Missouri Valley Conference will take center stage in college basketball betting when the Bradley Braves play host to the Wichita State Shockers at 9:00 ET on ESPN2 inside Carver Arena. The Braves will have a shot at upsetting the Shockers who are ranked No. 2 in the country this week.

The Shockers blew out the Drake Bulldogs 83-54 in their last outing on Saturday night. The win moved Wichita State to 16-0 SU inside of conference play on the year. It was also the third straight game in which “win and over” cashed on the Shockers. Wichita State G Takele Cotton led the way with 21 points and seven steals. While G Fred Van Fleet added 15 points, six assists, five boards, and three steals in the win. The leading scorer on this team is F Cleanthony Early who averages 15.8 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. Early played just 17 minutes and scored only three points Saturday, so he should be well-rested for this game. The Shockers have been heavy favorites in most of their games and have still managed to go 19-6-1 ATS this season. The weak schedule they play obviously keeps them winning, but they are by no means overrated as it will be up to them to prove it in the tournament. At 29-0 SU, the Shockers are the only remaining undefeated team in the country after the Syracuse Orange suffered consecutive losses last week.

The Braves are coming off a 55-38 win over the Loyola Ramblers on Saturday to stop a three game losing skid. Bradley is 7-9 SU in conference play, but its 6-2 SU at home against MVC opponents. It was the best defensive performance of the season for Bradley as it held Loyola to just 26.5 percent shooting from the floor. Senior G Walt Lemon, Jr. led the Braves with 16 points, three rebounds, and two assists in the win. Lemon, Jr. is having a great season individually as he averages 17.7 points and 3.9 assists per game. Bradley is 6-5-1 ATS on its home floor and has covered four of its L/5 spreads at home. The Braves will have plenty of motivation to perform well in this game as they took a 72-50 loss to the Shockers back on January 14th in Wichita. They will need for Lemon, Jr. to step up as he had just 12 points in the last meeting and the team shot just 35.2 percent from the floor.

Wichita State is just the wrong team at the wrong time for Bradley to be seeing on its home floor. The Shockers are 10-1-0 ATS on the road this season even though they had to cover some large spreads. We expect for them to keep an undefeated season going with a resounding victory that will put them just one game from a perfect regular season record. Look for Wichita State to be challenged early, but get it going to run its conference record to 17-0 SU with another win on the road. Wichita State 79 – Bradley 62
